Upper Ninety is a positive youth development program for teenagers in low-income communities around Austin. We combine soccer with social-emotional learning, Restorative Justice, and mindfulness training in order to help students build a foundation for personal and academic success.
The program was built at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and is in its pilot year in Austin. Our mission is to help students from low-income Austin communities thrive in high school and beyond. We envision a city where all students have the skills and community of support they need to find personal and academic success in the 21st Century.
