Founded in 1917, the Austin State Supported Living Center (AuSSLC) provides aid and support to nearly 169 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in order to increase their independence and improve their quality of life. Among the benefits received by residents are comprehensive medical and psychiatric services; occupational, speech, and physical therapies; vocational and life skills training; recreation; community inclusion (shopping, dining, sporting events, etc.), and much more. Austin State Supported Living Center provides a beautiful living environment and a wide range of individualized training and recreational programs. We are conveniently located on 97 oak-covered acres in central Austin.
