The Big Event is the largest annual one-day service project at St. Edward's University. Each year, many students, faculty, staff, alumni, and future students come together to give back to the St. Edward's community through various activities from trimming trees to painting walls to helping the homeless. Volunteers will serve at many different sites, including several neighborhood homes and many community sites such as schools and churches. In return for their service, volunteers will receive breakfast, lunch, and a t-shirt to commemorate their experience. This 11th annual Big Event will be held on Saturday, April 11th, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with check-in beginning at 8:00 a.m.
